Description
This is a model built by Gene in 1969, and it incorporates a very clever use of the drive pinion set inside the motor’s endbell, so as to reduce the overall width. The Champion motor can is an integral part of the chassis and the endbell can be removed and the armature changed without dismantling the chassis.
The floating brass pan is attached to brass-rod main rails that support the pin guide. The body is from a Pyro static kit with the addition of Gene’s fine detailing and decorative genius.
