The Marcos Mantis has the reputation to be the ugliest racing car ever built. Maybe true of the full-size and very unsuccessful horror, but many slot car replicas were built in both 1/24 and 1/32 scale. This non plated example reveals the detail of such chassis construction, dating from 1969.
