Description
To compete in the “Japan Grand Prix”, the Prince Motor Company purchased a Brabham BT8 sports car from the British MRD company and fitted their own 6-cylinder engine, mated to the Hewland HD5 gearbox.
Prince fashioned a new coupe body for the car, then made 4 copies of it.
The Tamiya kit is quite faithful to the resulting car, that was too slow to compete with the Porsche 906.
