Description
The Bandit sister car was the Renegade. Unlike the Bandit that had its own “super” version, the Renegade was only issued in its original form, with a simple change of rear tires a year later, from black molded sponge to gray glued-and-trued neoprene sponge.
The car features “American Mags” wheels, a body featuring custom design with matching stripe and decor with the Bandit model, and a Mabuchi FT36D motor sourced from AMT and painted in purple metallic color.
Unlike the Bandit that was later packed in a clear plastic box, the Renegade was always offered in a rather attractive triangular card stock window box.
