Of the three 1/24 scale Batmobiles produced as slot cars in the Classic Era, it is said that the BZ is the cleanest, the K&B the rarest and the Classic the ugliest. True enough, but it really looks wild.
The Classic Batmobile chassis is no different from the late-issue manta ray, but is anodized in a much darker gray color, almost black. Unlike the BZ and K&B examples, the Classic “Bat” NEVER had “bat hubs”, but many were fitted with such by either their owners or raceway owners. This required a change of axles as the stock axles were too short to hold the plastic little bats.
The Classic Batmobile is not a rare car, but most are found with body cracks and without their fragile box.
