Description
The first issue of this kit came in 1966 at the same time as that of a “Cooper Cobra”, also known as “Lang Cooper”, a sports car body built on a Cooper Monaco chassis.
The longer kit box is characteristic of these two kits.
The brass 3-piece frame used the motor as a chassis component. The detailed body was particularly attractive, a representation of the Chaparral 2A in its early 1965 version such as raced at Sebring.
The model was powered by a Mabuchi FT16D motor, the “Fireball” in Revell speak, featuring brushes heat sinks.
