Description
This car was one of the early models built by Roy, likely in 1965. A simple pan frame receives a motor built with a “Hemi” can and armature mated to a Mabuchi FT16D endbell. The body is in styrene, made from a pattern carved by Roy and vacuum formed from sheet. A Cox contrate is being used as well as a pin-type guide like most of the Midwest club-racing cars.
This chassis as well as others on these pages, were restored by Robert Hackl, a friend of the LASCM.
