Description
HIT, a sub-brand of Marusan, produced eight kits in 1965. Four were in the 1/24 scale, four in the 1/32 scale. All used a simple stamped aluminum chassis with an inline mounted Hitachi motor, a cheap copy of the Mabuchi FT16 and especially its Hong Kong clones by Johnson.
The chassis was fully assembled, leaving the injected-plastic body to be completed by the customers.
Note the HIT logo, visibly inspired by the Champion spark plugs logo graphics!
