Description
This 1/24 scale model is part of a series issued by MRRC, then a division of Airfix, in 1967. The body was vacuum formed in clear plastic and factory painted, and injected plastic plated details were added as in Russkit models. The chassis was a larger version of the 1/32 scale MRRC chassis, with working steering. These models were no doubt issued in response to the 1/24 scale series issued by Scalextric. The MRRC models were excellent runners on the track and their handling buried that of the Scalextric models.
