Description
In 1967, Monogram issued a series of RTR models using nicely painted vacuum formed bodies,a stamped aluminum chassis and a sidewinder Mabuchi FT36D motor.
The models came individually packaged in a vacuum formed clear plastic case sealed over a printed cardboard base, the whole display inside a corrugated cardboard box.
The McLaren-Elva seen here is a scarce item and was only available in metallic red. The LASCM hopes that one of our readers will offer the museum a batter example of this model in a more complete packaging.
