Description
The first Cox slot car kits, issued in 1965, were of 1964 Ferrari 158 and BRM P260 F1 cars. Both the Ferrari and BRM were updated in 1966 with a new chassis for the newer Mabuchi FT16D motor, that required a mold change on the body, no longer compatible with the original version. This is the Series 2 kit with the FT16D motor and one-piece plastic crown gears.
