Description
Classic was one of the most successful slot car manufacturers in the heydays of the hobby at the commercial level. Besides the ready to race and kit models, myriad of spare parts were available. This chassis was issued in at least five different variations and is similar (but not identical) to that used by American Line, then BZ. This variation is designed for the Mabuchi FT36D (can-side drive) motor and is anodized in the darker gray color as the production Manta Ray models using this type of motor were. Itself had packaging variations as motors changed from the CM350 (endbell-side drive) to the CM360 (can-side drive).
