Description
The sole slot car produced by AMCRC, the “Americana” was first marketed to American Speedway franchises as rental cars for their T-slot tracks. The car had two specially designed T-shape guides, making them virtually “undeslottable”.
The first packaging was a patriotically illustrated card stock box, and a second version was made of embossed clear plastic, sourced from the same supplier as that of BZ and K&B.
The car was also assembled in the United kingdom for distribution in Europe, then marketed by AMF under license from AMCRC.
