Not much is known of Tokyo-Plamo before and after the slot car racing boom in Japan, from 1965 to 1967, but the company was able in this brief time to produce no less than twenty one kits, in both the 1/24 and 1/32 scale. The quality range from poor to fair, but very interesting models were produced, many unique in a copycat industry.
The company vanished in 1968.
