Description
We were totally unaware of the existence of this slot car before this example showed at auction recently in pristine condition in its original box. The chassis appears to be made of copper-clad fiberglass rails on which cross tubing made of brass is soldered. The Mabuchi FT26D motor drives what appears to be a Cox spur gear, and the guide is identical to those used by early Dynamic and Classic cars. The body is a Pactra/Stormer Mecom-Lola GT. Ever seen another?
