The Cannon brand was owned by C&S Distributing, a large hobby products distributor in the San Fernando valley above Los Angeles, California.
C&S made their own ready to race models from components they were marketing, some exclusively. The models all had the same proprietary stamped brass chassis, their own version of the Mabuchi FT36D motor dubbed “Vendetta 427”, Riggen wheels and tires and various Lancer bodies. Their most famous and most popular model was the “Vendetta”, but they also produced models that are today very scarce and sought after by astute collectors.
