Description
This extremely scarce version of the very popular Cox Chaparral 2 ready to race model was produced in 1966 in this special packaging for the Montgomery Wards department stores. The “kit” included a fully assembled Chaparral 2 model, a Cox MK4 controller and boxes containing a driver and tools. Very few have survived and the LASCM is lucky to have been able to acquire this model. The only other known similar model is one of the “La Cucaracha” in a similar packaging.
