Description
This chassis was almost identical to the one used by Classic Industries on their Manta Ray model. It actually came from the same supplier, and BZ also used it on their American Line models.
Designed to receive the endbell-side driven Mabuchi FT36 or FT36D, it was used in the BZ Green Hornet’s “Black Beauty”, Ford GT and Ferrari 275P models. A version was devised for the Little Red Wagon but at this time, only one factory prototype has been found.
Please note that the lettering on the drop arm came from the aluminum stock and was not removed by a cleaning process.
