Description
This Japanese kit issued in 1966 is a step above the mediocre quality of previous Climax kits. The chassis is an aluminum stamping reminiscent of the Russkit “Carrera series” design, that appears to be powder coated with satin black paint. The wheels are nylon. As most Japanese kits, it does not include the motor, but the packaging recommends the TKK (Mabuchi) FT36 unit. The body is a vacuum formed shell copied on the American Russkit model. The packaging is definitely an upgrade from the rather plain blue boxes of the previous issues.
