Description
There were several series of this kit as well as its kit brother, the Ferrari F1.
The first series had an FT16 motor (TTX100) and sintered bronze crown gears. A second series used the same motor but Nylatron gears, a mix of nylon and fiberglass powder. The third series had a new chassis, revised body molding and a FT16D (TTX150) motor.
The last series had yet another new gear, now in Nylatron but with an aluminum hub.
The kit illustrated here is a “Series 4” kit with the TTX150 motor and the Nylatron gears with aluminum hubs.
