Description
In 1967, Monogram issued a series of “dream cars” or “thingies” as they were quickly called by the purists. These were designed to attract teenagers wore interested in outrageous looks than performance. The Vampire is one of three such models, using a stamped aluminum chassis and a sidewinder Mabuchi FT36D motor.
The models came individually packaged in a vacuum formed clear plastic case sealed over a printed cardboard base, the whole display inside a corrugated cardboard box.
The Vampire was available in metallic gold and metallic red.
