Description
Issued in 1963, this kit used the new Igarashi motor that replaced the Mabuchi 15R previously used on Strombecker models since 1961.
The car uses a monocoque construction in which the lower part of the body is effectively the chassis, the top held by a pair of self tapping screws.
Brass bearings retained by the body panels were used to guide the axles, while a new kind of pickup was also used in this and all other similarly constructed Strombecker models.
