Description

A second generation of AMT kits came in 1966 with the introduction of four new 1/25 scale kits and RTR cars, all using a new brass pan chassis for a long time reputedly designed by Dick Dobson, which was inaccurate. The motor was a Mabuchi FT36D painted in purple color and shared with parent company Dynamic. There were also four new 1/32 scale kits using the FT16D motor. The body of this kit was molded in medium gray-blue or a scarce black, also used in a modified version by Dynamic Models, a subsidiary of AMT.
The Hussein was a re-bodied Cooper Monaco fitted with an enormous Dodge NASCAR engine. Only the courage and talent of A.J. Foyt was able to tame the beast.
