Description
This scarce 1/24 scale kit was issued in 1966. It represents one of the period “Big Cars” run on both dirt and pavement on oval racing tracks since the 1920’s. This model is of a Meskowski dirt-track, Offy-powered car, as driven by Al Unser, Roger Ward, AJ Foyt and Mario Andretti as well as so many other famous drivers.
The slot car is a large model, in fact rather huge, that uses the chrome plated Strombecker “Supercharger” 12VDC motor. The car is very elegant even if molded in the wrong color for the supplied decals. In any case, a beautiful and imposing model.
