Description

Amazingly, this kit of the 1964 Honda RA 271 F1 car is presented as a… Brabham F1. How did this happened is subject to speculation but it is likely that the great man’s name was mixed up with the English translation for “Honda”. Jack Brabham was using Honda Formula 2 engines at the same time as this kit was produced, and also was instrumental in getting Honda started in Formula One, actually testing and helping to ship a Cooper T53 “Low Line” to the Honda motor Co in 1962, so that Honda could study the 1960 world championship-winning car.
The kit is quite intricate and included a Mabuchi FT36 motor, missing in this example.
