Description
The Watson-Ford has a body obviously inspired by the Lancer model, as it is nearly identical except for a shortened nose. Gordon Brimhall almost certainly used a Lancer body as a pattern. The chassis is the usual “Gator” ISO-fulcrum design pivoted from the rear axle. The wheels are by Riggen, the crown gear and guide by Cox. The body paint is splendid and so typical of the wonderful vacuum formed bodies of the late 1960’s. These cars handled quite well and were fast, thanks to their Mabuchi FT26 motor.
