Description
In 1967, Champion introduced an improved version of their basic RTR models, powered by the new, lighter Mabuchi FT26, dubbed “601”. The Porsche body was a Lancer item and had actual color tape on its sides as body reinforcement. Gear were now by Williams and tires were glued and ground sponge. Unusual feature were the wheels, actually the previous items hand drilled rather unevenly to save weight! The box is quite scarce.
