Description

After selling a limited number of Quad MK 1 chassis and cars, the little company simplified and improved their complex chassis with a MK2 version by removing the front suspension while keeping the steering fully functional. The MK2 chassis was offered assembled, along with a Monogram 1/24 scale Ferrari 275P body kit. The new frame was made of a machined aluminum billet tee with trailing arms and now injection-molded drive shafts. Little else changed other than the motor was positioned lower and the boxes now had a glued-on sticker with the new company address.
It did not survive long and by early 1966 had disappeared.
It is hard to tell if the MK2 are rarer than the MK1, as so few have ever been found.
