Model Products Corporation of Michigan jumped into the slot car hobby as early as 1962. After producing a pair of cars in kit form, they introduce actual RTR cars based from those kits. in 1966, they produced a beautiful model of the Pontial GTO, then issued a series of “double kits” with a aluminum sidewinder chassis and two bodies. Several highly prized RTR followed, the series ending with vacuum plated Lola T70 RTR cars. Some very interesting and scarce versions of the cars appear here and there, making collection MPC slot cars really fun.
