Description
This “Modified Harvey Aluminum Special” Indy car was advertized as such in a magazine, but no such name shows up on any part of the packing material.
There are several versions of this kit, issued in 1965 and revised in 1966. A factory built RTR model was also available in 1966. By 1967, the GRC slot car racing adventure was over.
An interesting feature of the Spitfire kit and RTR is the use of tiny rubber goggles on the driver.
This is the RTR model issued in mid-1966.
