The following appendix includes slot racing kits and factory assembled RTR models produced between 1957 and 1972, and does not pretend to cover everything ever produced. Often, stock numbers are missing due to various factors, as several manufacturers never used any. Others never bothered to put stock references on boxes or advertising. Some companies have extremely complex and continuously changing numbering systems (Strombecker, for instance…). Please refer to the various chapters for photographic descriptions. Blank areas show author’s ignorance. Please feel free to fill in the blanks and please let author know…With physical evidence! NOTE: the 1/24 and 1/32 scales have been arbitrarily selected to categorize the items below. Some are actually slightly larger or smaller than their quoted scale.
