Ferrari Dino IFC

Much rarer than the "Double Kit", the IFC kit of the "Ferrari GT" as it was re-named came in 1967. Using the popular IFC aluminum chassis fitted with a longer drop arm, this new kit tried to adapt the product to the constantly changing and demanding market of cars with performance above looks. The body had its head and taillight details unceremoniously removed from the mold, the windows now a one-piece molding that snapped in place. The car was no longer offered as a roadster, the coupe roof being glued over the glass.
The motor was the new Cox 3600 NASCAR, the wheels were no longer "Ferrari" but American Mag items, a mic of magnesium fronts and aluminum rears fitted with sponge tires. The kit box was also used for the three other models in the series.
